The Garmin – TriTronics BarkLimiter is one of the most advanced bark control collars on the market. It features the most advanced accelerometer sensor which is able to tell the different sounds of dogs’ barking and other noises. This anti bark collar also has a very slim design (only 6.3cm x 3.8cm x 3.8 cm) which makes the collar suitable for all different sizes of dog and all types of thicknesses of coats. The Garmin BarkLimiter has 3 different operation modes: V – vibration, A – automatic, 1-7 – manually adjustable levels of output.

 

Accelerometer Technology bark sensor An accelerometer is a device that measures the proper acceleration which is used to detect and monitor vibration. The bark sensor of Garmin BarkLimiter collar integrates the Accelerometer Technology which is able to tell the vibration is from the dog’s voice box or from the dog’s movement. When the sensor detects external noise or movement of the dog, the LED status light will flash very shortly and no static correction is given. If the sensor detects barking, the LED light will flash and follow with a static correction.

 

Stimulation modes 
Autorise Technology – this is what the BarkLimiter is set at from the first use out of the box – it will start from the lowest level and increase automatically to a level that stops the dog from nuisance barking. You will have the ability to adjust the BarkLimiter manually as well. In the manual adjustable mode it means you find out the best level for the dog. Every time when the dog barks, the anti bark collar will go straight to the level you have set which means the dog will be only allowed to bark once or twice. 
The vibration stimulation is the alternative to static correction. It is great for small and sensitive dogs. The Garmin BarkLimiter will vibrate each time when the dog barks.

 

Bark Odometer 
The ability to check how many times your dog has barked will be an added bonus when using this bark control collar particularly if you have had complaints from the neighbours. The Garmin BarkLimiter has the same Bark Odometer feature from the previous TriTronic BarkLimiter bark control collar. The Bark Odometer counts the number of times your dog is corrected while wearing the collar, and displays the total when turning the unit off. This way you will know if the level that you have set for your dog is working for him while you are away

 

Sleep Mode 
This feature will save battery power when it is motionless for a period of time. The BarkLimiter can go into Sleep Mode when it is removed from your dog or while your dog is motionless. Sleep Mode allows you to leave your Bark Limiter dial set to the mode or level you need to control your dog's barking, even when the collar is not in use, without draining the battery.

 

Please note: Dogmaster Trainers does not recommend that the customer leave the static correction collar on the dog for more than 8 hours per day as this may cause ‘pressure necrosis’. Please also check your dog’s neck for irritation and wash neck each time after using the collar and clean the contact probes with alcohol every week.
